Berlin7 is on its way

The international follow-up conference to the Berlin Declaration will be held in France (Paris) for the first time. INRIA (the French national institute for research in computer science and control) was chosen by the signatory establishments of the French protocol concerning open archives to organise the Berlin7 conference. Supported by its institutional partners, the Institute looks forward to welcoming the entire open archive community at the prestigious venue of the Sorbonne University.

Since 2004, INRIA has participated in the open archive movement and was one of the first French signatories of the Berlin Declaration. The Institute’s policy greatly encourages its researchers to submit their scientific output to the HAL Open Archive. This platform was developed by the CCSD (CNRS) and is accessible to all French research and higher education establishments. It enjoys great international visibility with INRIA placed at the forefront.

Jacques Millet, Delegate to scientific information, research department, INRIA.
